My mother always stressed the Golden Rule, do undo others as we would want them to do unto us. I continue to live by that life rule both in my personal and professional real estate life.
I taught math in Carolina public schools to thousands of students for 27 years. Boy, did I ever learn
patience and respect for the wonderful differences in people. I love to bump into former students who’ve succeeded.While teaching, I also practiced real estate to earn extra income for my family. Then and now my math background really helped with complicated real estate transactions.
I love my work but my family is my reason for being. My 2 daughters are the center of my world. My daughter Cara and her husband, Chris, manager our family restaurant, Crave Kitchen & Cocktails in Mt Pleasant ( #1 in Mt Pleasant! ).
Daughter Corinne has recently moved to Charleston from Nashville and is working with us at our restaurant. She'll soon also be a member of our real estate team.Home, to me, is the foundation of a family and it is family which builds and nurtures our humanity.
Real Estate has allowed me to use my experience, abilities and interests to do something very wonderful in life: I strengthen families.
